I highly recommend Lydia, I really thought she was going to come to my house and say “nope lost cause”😂
She didn’t, and proceeded to work with my boy Rex, he wouldn’t walk through the front door on his lead. Lydia tailored a plan for him to build confidence to help him make good choices.
He was scared when I took his collar and lead out of the cupboard. In just 4 sessions he’s done amazing.
Lydia is very quick thinking, if she can see something isn’t going to work, she will have another tactic. 😉
I’ve just come back from the beach with him, loads of dogs and distractions for him, but he was totally focussed on what I was doing with him. Thank you so much from Lianne and Rex ❤️

Friendly instruction with demonstration and ideas to further good behaviour response . ( for dog and owner!) Plenty of follow up literature to reiterate the teaching.  It was a positive experience for me.

I used canine coven to help with my reactive Daschund Hugo, Lydia proved to be very knowledgeable patient and experienced with dogs and canine behaviour. Lydia showed me how to process Hugo’s behaviour and react in a way to him that would help him, so not only does she train dogs but humans too! Lydia is very patient and calm with the training and shows you how to use the techniques and when. Hugo showed a significant improvement after spending time working with Lydia.
Overall a great experience and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

We worked with Lydia on her 1-1 puppy training with our Rottweiler Ernie. Lydia was so supportive and took the time to understand Ernie and what he needs most. She was able to show us how to properly use training techniques like a clicker and how to make training fun and engaging. Ernie has come such a long way with Lydia and it gave us great foundations to build on. Lydia regularly checked in and we could reach out with questions. Lydia has been amazing during our 1-1 sessions with our border collie pup. He has come on amazingly in terms of his behaviour and the training has been a great way of connecting with him and teaching him how we’d like for him to behave. Lydia explains everything really well and the reasoning behind each training method used, as well as considering the individual needs of the dog (eg breed specific needs and the issues that crop up between sessions that can be resolved in the next). She provides lots of resources, hand outs and all the methods are tried and tested many times before, and she leaves me with confidence to continue training our pup. I would recommend her to anyone because it’s like we have a different dog for all the right reasons, thankyou so much Lydia for all your help!

Finn our 4 year old dog already knew Lydia through his daycare, however this did not matter as Lydia treated and trained Finn like a dog who had not met her before; Lydia's professionalism and positive, force-free approach were great to see and she gave Finn the time and space to understand what she was asking of him. Lydia took the training at Finn's pace and always out Finn's needs and wellbeing first and foremost. Lydia kindly gave us notes after each session that we could review and knew what to practice to help Finn. At the end of each session Lydia made sure to end things on a playful and happy note with Finn, to not overwork, overtire or stress Finn. We are very grateful to Lydia and would recommend her (The Canine Covern) services to all of our dog friends.

Highly recommend puppy class.
Was amazing to see how using such simple methods and games/ rewards how everything else falls into place within home life.
Snoopy absolutely loved his weekly class and the socialisation with three other amazing puppy's.
The classes were small and well organised which made it thoroughly enjoyable and easy to train.
Next stop for us middle school we can’t wait miss our little group already
