The Canine Covens owner and trainer, Lydia, is committed to transforming the lives of dogs and their owners through our tailored programs. Our classes are kept small to ensure individual attention, with a maximum of only 5 dogs per course.
With a beautiful location at Paws & Play Daycare in Lostock Hall, Preston, our courses offer a unique and engaging learning environment for you and your furry friend.

5 Week Puppy Training Course
The Canine Coven offers a 5-week Puppy Training Course led by Lydia, focusing on socialisation, confidence building, impulse control, basic obedience, trick training, understanding puppy body language and much more.
Classes are small with personalised attention on each pup, using positive interactive training methods such as fun training and socialisation games. Each week puppies and owners will focus on some training topics, with the course built around a puppies natural developments ensuring pups will have fun learning as they grow.

4 Week Middle School Skills Course
The Canine Coven's Middle School Classes are designed for dogs aged 6-24 months, focusing on building confidence and understanding their emotions and behaviors during the adolescent stage.
Led by Lydia, the course addresses foundational skills focusing on important topics each week and specific needs of adolescent dogs, such as walking on lead, recall, separation anxiety, and much more. Perfect for those who want to understand their dogs behaviours more and learn positive training techniques along with them. Classes maintain small group sizes for personalised attention.
For £65, you'll receive 4 engaging classes, weekly digital booklets, personalised advice, and a certificate of completion with a small freebie. Enroll today to help your adolescent dog thrive in a supportive environment! Thursdays 6.30pm.
Puppy Package - At Home & Premium
Enhance your puppy's training with the Puppy Package, a perfect option if your puppy can't attend classes or you would just rather your puppy learns in their home. You will follow the 5 sessions through home visits and walks with Lydia, working on the puppy topics each week with that extra guidance from Lydia. Puppies will get a personalised training plan at the end to target any areas they may need continued training on. Additional sessions available to add for a small extra cost per session.
This hands-on approach provides extra attention and guidance for your puppy to excel. Limited availability at £145 per puppy.
If you want to attend classes but still would like to have a little bit of extra guidance from Lydia, you can upgrade your puppy classes to Premium for a total of £195 which will include all the benefits of the 5 weekly classes, but 2 additional visits from Lydia either at home or on a walk, and a personalised training plan.

Workshops
The Canine Coven offers Dog Training Workshops focusing on essential topics like dog body language, enrichment, lead walking, separation anxiety, and various other training topics. Attendees gain valuable insights and practical tips to enhance their bond with their furry companions and address behavioral challenges effectively.
Perfect if you just want to top up your knowledge on one or two topics. Join us to empower yourself as a confident and informed dog owner.

1-1 Training Options
Exclusive training options now available for customers who have trained with Lydia on puppy or middle school classes! Suitable for dogs who are wanting to continue working on a certain area after classes such as separation anxiety, walking on lead or just general confidence building to help with excitement or reactivity! Each dog will get weekly WhatsApp check-ins and support, and a customised training plan to take away after Lydia's sessions. If your dog attends Paws and Play Daycare they can get an exclusive session with Lydia while at daycare (will depend on what your dog is working on, and availability).
Limited availability based on Lydia's schedule in daycare and classes.
